Tucked away in Southwest Texas between Big Bend National Park and Big Bend State Park lies the exquisite 27,000 acre Lajitas Golf Resort and Spa. Our resort in West Texas is set among the Mountain vistas and the borderland majesty of the Rio Grande River, the resort's unique destination is rich in Old West history; complimented by the rugged luxury and superior service of a first class hotel.

Lajitas Resort is a 103 room resort with a spa, restaurant, golf, saloon, 3 swimming pools, and offers numerous activities for guests including equestrian riding and ATV guided trips. We cater to a wide range of guests from celebrities to families and international clientele making it a exciting place to work!

Low cost employee housing (private/unfurnished units) are available on site depending on availability and your needs; ranging from $80 to $175 per paycheck.

Please Note: This is not dorm style housing. These are stand-alone units and are not furnished so you will have to bring your own furniture.

Getting Here and Getting Around

We are located between Big Bend National Park and Big Bend State Ranch. While a vehicle is not required at the resort with housing close to the facilities, a vehicle is useful for trips to Presidio (located 60 miles from the resort) or Alpine (located 90 miles from the resort) for shopping, banking or even a haircut! To put it in perspective, we are approx 200 miles to the closest Wal-Mart and 80 miles to the closest McDonalds or stop light! We love the remoteness and lack of city lights which offers an environment of peace, quite, and stargazing surpassed by no other!

For Fun

There are numerous activities including hiking, biking, rafting, and swimming right here at the resort. There are other restaurant and shopping opportunities at little as 12 miles away.

We accept applications for seasonal employment, however, many of our positions are year-round with benefits. Our spring season runs through the end of May.

NOTE: We are no longer working with the Work and Travel program. We are unable to offer sponsorships to international students. Upon employment, proof of authorization to work in the United States will be required.
