House in the Wood Summer Camp and Outdoor Education Center

Spring/Summer Jobs at House in the Wood

House In The Wood provides an opportunity for children and teens from families in Chicago to benefit from the outdoor camp experience. Using traditional camp activities, we have been providing campers with alternatives to urban lifestyles since 1910. We believe that individuals can choose only from among options that are known to them.

At House In The Wood, there exists a unique opportunity for children, teens and adults with varying family backgrounds to live together, encounter new experiences and grow as individuals. At camp, alternatives are presented in every aspect of daily camp life and practiced within small group and individual relationships.
