The Gros Ventre (Grow Vahnt) River Ranch is the ideal guest ranch for outdoor enthusiasts and people who find relaxation in adventure.

We are a family owned and operated, ALL- INCLUSIVE ranch open each summer from June-September. We are proud to provide a vacation for couples, singles and families that focuses on beginning to advanced horseback riding, spectacular trout fishing, hiking, mountain bike riding, fine dining, breathtaking views and most of all, relaxation at its best. Some activities include team sorting and team penning our steers, fly fishing on our stocked ponds or in the Gros Ventre River that runs through the ranch and nature hikes on an unlimited number of wilderness trails.

Our Ideal Candidate

Teton View At the Grow Ventre River Ranch our job is to insure that our guests have the vacation of a lifetime. Therefore, as staff, we are team oriented-- no matter what position you have on the ranch, you will be asked to pitch in where and when needed to get the job done. We won't ask of you anything that we won't do along side of you or haven't done ourselves. On our ranch, as with most ranches, the length of your work day is dictated by the hours needed to complete the job and we are looking for employees that are flexible and willing to put in a hard days work. Canidates that can work through our entire season are ideal, as are those individuals that have a positive attitude about themselves and people in general.

Room and Board

We provide a monthly salary, shared room, three meals each day, one day off each week, laundry facilities, internet access and an end of season bonus.

Perks

We provide the opportunity to partake in ranch activities on your time off -- horseback riding, fly fishing, mountain biking, hiking, roping lessons -- all in the beauty of Jackson Hole and the majestic Teton Mountain Range. Also, Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks are an easy day trip from the ranch.
Fishing

Getting Here and Getting Around

Jackson Hole is easy to get to by plane or by car. Half of our staff will arrive in their own car, while the other half will fly. We have parking for those that choose to bring their own car.

For Fun

In the Jackson Hole valley, the opportunities for fun is endless! For those that would like to get off the ranch for a day, Jackson offers eloquent Galleries, museums, western shops, world class golf courses and local theater. Enjoy the Jackson rodeo and the local nightlife, if you wish. Guided fishing trips or float trips with a local outfitter can be arranged for you after your arrival at an additional charge, as well as rock climbing the Tetons or kayaking the Snake River. There is also the endless opportunity for wildlife spotting and birding.
