This Corral Forman position is perfect for an individual that loves horses, the great outdoors, guest interaction all while having fun!  Grand Teton Lodge Company (GTLC) and Flagg Ranch Company (FRC) offers guided trail rides for guests that are fun and informative about Grand Teton National Park while offering a high level of focus around guest safety and customer service The Forman is responsible for preparing for opening (stock arrival, vettings, shoeing, hay arrival, employee arrival, etc.), training of wranglers and clerks, ensuring that employees perform their duties properly, keeping rides on schedule, overseeing office management and scheduling, and monitoring and assessing horses health and safety. The Corral Foreman is also responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service and safety practices for guests and employees and continually looking for ways to improve in these areas. This position starts in mid-May and, depending on the property, continues until October.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience/care of horses with western style tack
• Valid US Driver’s License
• Must have or be willing to obtain First Aid and CPR Certification by first day of employment
• Strong Verbal English Skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Interpretive knowledge of Grand Teton National Park
