Glacier Park, Inc (GPI) is a concessioner of Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park as well as an independent hotel operator committed to giving our personal best in hospitality so that we may enhance guest and employee experiences in these unique and historical settings.GPI employs approximately 1,200 seasonal staff members to operate nine hotels and their functions in and around Glacier National Park.

Our Jobs

Glacier Park, Inc. operates nine properties, including historic lodges and motor inns and hotels.

Each property requires staffing departments of hotel operations, front and back-of-house food and beverage, retail outlets, and  facilities and location management.

Our seasonal headquarters operates the above, as well as, a nine-hole golf course, swimming pool, central warehouse and laundry facilities.

GPI Transportation runs a fleet of historic White Motor Coach Red Buses offering interpretive tours through Glacier, concierge/information desks and hiker shuttles.

Room and Board

Meals and lodging are provided for qualified employees at $11 per day for first year employees. Returning employees receive a 25% discount on meals and lodging, per current consecutive seasons worked. All charges are payroll deducted.

Employee housing is rustic dormitory-style living with shared rest rooms and facilities. Employee housing does not include kitchen facilities, air conditioning, or television. Though housing is onsite, some walking may be required to and from your work area. Limited RV sites with full hook-ups are available at our East Glacier Park location.

Our employee dining staffs strive to provide nutritious options for a variety of tastes. Three meals are served daily in the employee dining facilities. Most of the employee dining rooms are open 24 hours.

On-property employee laundry facilties are available free of charge.

Getting Here and Getting Around

Getting to and around Glacier is part of the adventure!

Glacier is off the beaten path. Employees have a variety of travel options to arrive in Glacier. Many employees chose to travel via personal vehicles. Each property provides ample parking for employee vehicles.

No wheels? No worries. Traveling via rail is another popular option. Amtrak stops in East Glacier Park, MT at our Glacier Park Lodge location. Two international airports, Kalispell (FCA) and Great Falls (GTF) service the great Glacier vacinity. Employees arriving at FCA can arrange a pick-up shuttle to Glacier.

GPI and the National Park Service operate shuttles in and around Glacier Park on a daily basis, during peak season. Most areas of the park can be accessed using this convenient shuttle system with proper advanced planning. The NPS shuttle is free of charge to all users. The GPI shuttle is free of charge to GPI employees on a “space available” basis.

For Fun

We encourage all employees to organize and participate in activities for themselves and co-workers: movie night, sporting events, bon fires, dance parties, group hiking, etc.

Other employee activities are available, such as early season white water rafting at discounted rates and free Red Bus Tours and Boat tours when space is available.

Employee recreation areas are available at each location. Commonly referred to as the “employee rec. room,” these areas may include; satellite television, satellite internet, pool table, ping-pong table, darts, game tables, fitness equipment, etc
