WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT MANAGER -  The position runs from May 1 until October 5, 2013. On site Meals & Lodging are provided at no cost, plus competitive pay & incentives.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:

• Minimum of 2 years previous Warehouse experience
• Previous supervisory or management role in warehouse/shipping & recieving operation
• Knowledge of basic Warehouse equipment and functionality
• Knowledge of computers
• Knowledge of trucking, loading and routing
• Knowledge of inventory controls, labor costs and controls
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required

THE ASSISTANT WAREHOUSE MANAGER:

1. Assists in the supervision and coordination of Warehouse Truck Drivers and location deliveries.
2. Assists in the supervision and coordination of shipping & receiving activities.
3. Ensures accurate and timely re-distribution of product to all Company outlets.
4. Ensures proper receipt, storage and rotation of product.
5. Maintains Warehouse facility in a neat, clean and orderly manner and in accordance with local health codes. Orders product from Company-approved vendors.
6. Verifies prices and approves payment of invoices.
7. Responsible for the GPI recycling program of picking up recycled products from locations and returning to Warehouse for re-shipment to GPI recycling agents.
8. Responsible for the maintenance of perpetual and stock control inventory and supervision of all accounting and computer functions.
9. Assists in other departments or with other job duties as assigned by Manager.
10. Assists in the supervision and coordination of Warehouse Truck Drivers and location deliveries.
