Summer Jobs in Montana's Premier Fly Fishing Country
We are a small upscale fly fishing guest ranch located just eighteen miles from Yellowstone National Park. The Ranch is 640 private acres located on the shores of Hebgen Lake.
All our positions require exemplary customer service, love of the outdoors, ability to be flexible and job share and live in a small tight knit community.
Season runs from late May through September 30th. Staff must commit to working the entire season.
- Breakfast Cook
- Cook breakfast for up to 24 guests 3-4 days/week. Additional duties include cooking staff breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Also provide prep and support for Chef one or two nights a week.
- Maintain buildings and grounds of ranch. Transport guests daily in Vans, Suburbans and Pontoon Boats.
- Serve breakfast and dinner to guests in a relaxed fine dining setting. Responsibilities include bar tending, set up and break down of the dining room, cleaning and maintaining the lodge and some dish washing. Fine dining experience preferred. Must be flexible to pitch in where needed.
- Provide private horseback rides for guests. Feed, water and groom 6-8 horses. Maintain pasture, fences and corrals. Will work with other departments, Maintenance or Housekeeping, depending on skill set.
Our Ideal Candidate
We are looking for responsible, well rounded people with a skill set appropriate to the different positions. Must have flexible, team oriented attitude and the ability to live in a communal and fairly remote environment. Should love the outdoors and take advantage of all the area offers. Work hard, Play hard.
Room and Board
Room & board is provided. Three meals a day and dormitory living. Most are single rooms.
Salary (DOE) plus room and board. The Ranch also offers fishing, hiking, mountain biking, swimming and horseback riding. There are plenty of opportunities to get away on your time off to enjoy the area. Yellowstone is our back yard!
Getting Here and Getting Around
We are 18 miles from the town of West Yellowstone on the south side of Hebgen Lake. You can fly to West Yellowstone, Bozeman or Idaho Falls, but to take full advantage of the area we recommend bringing your own vehicle.
If you love the outdoors, this is the place for you! Enjoy camping, fishing, hiking, mountain biking and canoeing from the Ranch. On your days off explore Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks or travel to Bozeman, MT or Jackson Hole, WY.
