Elkins Resort is a family destination resort located on the sandy shores of Priest Lake. We offer family vacations, conferences, retreats and weddings. The resort has a restaurant, lounge, gift shop, store, marina and 32 log cabins on 30 acres of forested land.

Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate is someone who is willing to work hard, but also play hard. We are located in one of the most beautiful spots in the world and want all of our employees to enjoy what nature has surrounded us with.

Our summer season is extremely busy though, and we need employees who are willing to work in whatever department is necessary to help out and keep things running smooth. We prefer candidates who are hardworking, outgoing, easy to get along with (and live with), who are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done, and who will appreciate the outdoors so they can better serve the guests who are coming to the area for that reason. Most of our guests are returning, and we have built a long-standing relationship with them - so we want people that can fit not only our criteria of a good employee, but also theirs as well.

Room and Board

Limited housing is available in a shared environment and is based on a first come first served basis. Housing is reasonably priced and located on resort property.

Perks

Most seasonal employees work five days a week, with two days off during their work weeks. Seasonal bonuses are available for those who fulfill their contracts.

Getting Here and Getting Around

There is no public transportation at Priest Lake. It is ideal to have your own transport. We are 90 miles from Spokane, Washington, and 40 miles from the nearest “town” of Priest River, Idaho. Area businesses include restaurants, marinas, gift shops and small grocery stores. Elkins has free wireless internet, espresso and sits right on the sandy shores of Priest Lake.
