Thank you for your interest in employment opportunities with Delaware North Company Parks & Resorts at Sequoia. DNCP&R is the authorized National Park Service concessioner providing visitor services and facilities inside Sequoia National Park. Facilities include: Wuksachi Village & Lodge featuring a new year-round lodge, full service restaurant, gift shop, conference center and tour department. Lodgepole Center with grocery, sporting goods, snack bar, gift shop, public laundry and showers. Wolverton Meadow includes a snack bar and gift shop. Bearpaw High Sierra Camp offering a full service back country camping experience.

Room and Board
HOUSING
Generally housing units are small, and consist of duplex cabins or dorms. Valuable and excessive possessions should be left at home. Respect for housing rules and consideration for coworkers and guests is essential. Sequoia Park is a remote wilderness area, be prepared to coexist with wildlife (including insects and rodents). The black bear is also common and therefore strict food storage and refuse rules must also be observed. Housing cost range is $25.00 per week for double occupancy, and $30.00 per week for a full hook-up RV site. Employees should expect double occupancy, single housing is very unlikely, and if offered, has a higher weekly rate. Every effort will be made to appropriately place roommates.
Housing is available for employees only. Employees must be 18 years of age to live in company housing. No pets are permitted in company housing. Due to limited room space, overnight visitors are not permitted.

MEALS
The employee meal program operates on a "pay as you eat" plan and is provided at low cost as follows: Breakfast - $3.25, Lunch - $3.50, and Dinner - $3.50. The meal program is available to employees only.
Getting Here and Getting Around
If selected, the new employee is responsible for transportation to Fresno or Visalia, California. DNCP&R will provide transportation into the park from the Fresno or Visalia airport, the Fresno train station or the Visalia bus station. There is no public transportation into the park. Individuals driving their own vehicles will experience a great deal more mobility during their employment in the park.
