Located right on Highway 190, we are in the heart of Death Valley National Park. There is no public transportation, so we highly recommend you bring your own vehicle.
If you don't have a vehicle, check into the daily bus service from Las Vegas to Beatty. We can arrange a pick up from the Beatty bus station, but all other travel expenses must be paid for by the employee.
The cooler months are an excellent time to explore the park. The Mesquite Sand Dunes and Mosaic Canyon are both very close to Stovepipe Wells, and other hiking opportunities abound throughout the park. Gravel roads to old mines, sand dunes and mountain peaks make this area a four-wheeling enthusiast's dream. There are also excellent opportunities for birders, stargazers and photographers in this beautiful park.
The summer months can get too hot to enjoy the outdoors, but we are conveniently located to a host of beautiful getaways. Here are drive times to some of our favorite getaways:
- Mt Whitney Portal/Sierra Nevada: 1½ hours
- Las Vegas/Red Rock Canyon: 2½ hours
- Mammoth Lakes: 3 ½ hours
- Los Angeles: 5 hours
