Daven Haven Lodge is nestled in the mountain village of Grand Lake at the West entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. A place where all of your summertime mountain experiences can become your favorite memories with lifetime friendships.
Since the late 1930's Daven Haven Lodge has been a premier lodging and small guest resort. Intimate in the way that we have 12 guest cabins; home to the "local's favorite" Backstreet Steakhouse and Pub. Outdoor stage with weekly entertainment for our patio guests and diners. And our "Stonecreek Catering" is the most recogonized and awarded catering company in our area for on and off premise catering events.
Our Lodge & Restaurant:
Nestled in the pines just two blocks from the downtown area, Daven Haven Lodge has 12 cabins with the Back Street Steakhouse on site. Our steakhouse is very reputable and is always a top recommendation by locals. We serve as hosts to several of the community events and our outdoor patio dining is especially popular during those perfect summer nights. Carey’s Stone Creek Catering is another branch of our operation allowing us to host several wedding receptions, family reunions and many other events each year.

Seasonal positions begin in May and June and go thru Labor Day up through late October. We understand that many colleges begin in late August and can work with some of our seasonal staff depending on the flexibility of other co-workers and the position you are hired for. As the season unwinds so do your hours and many take this time to "enjoy the fruits of their labor" before heading back to school or off to the next seasonal position. We love to having many staff return the following season and are happy to assist you with finding a seasonal wintertime position within our area.

Leave all your personal baggage behind.... We strive for our staff to work hard and play harder! We're an extreemly "team oriented" establishment and we cross train for several of our positions. Flexibility is a great strength to have here.
Room and Board
We have housing (camping cabins) for 6-8 full time staff positions on premise. This housing is based on double occupancy and is contractual. A deposit of first months rent is required at time of hire to secure your rooma and position. $300/month per person includes microwave,studio refridgerator,and wifi in your cabin with men's and womens bath house steps away. You may individually opt to pay for cable ($35/mo) if you have a tv. This is first come first serve and based on roomate compatibility. We do work to help find off premise housing this usually totals $450-$650/person double occupancy. The earlier the better for affordable housing. Food from our restaurant menu may be purchased at half price for staff during restaurant hours.

Discounts on local activities such as boat rentals, theater tickets, local's loyalty discout card 10% off at participating local establishments. We often have a group outing or end of season party such as Group Rockies game; River Rafting; Camping trips.

Getting Here and Getting Around
Having your own transportation is a plus to enjoy out of town trips and activities. There is no local transportation BUT our village is unique and small enough you can bike everywhere and walk anywhere you can bike. We highly recommend a bicycle to enjoy your summer in Grand Lake. Used bicycles can be purchased in Granby for $75++.
For Fun
The entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is 5 minutes from town. Hiking, Mountain biking, trail running, horseback riding and camping are just the beginning. Fishing in Grand or Shadow mountain Lakes are footsteps from Daven Haven, A beautiful public beach, water sports and boat rentals, golf, bowling, and tennis. With activities in Winter Park and Grand County just a short drive away.
