Cruise Ship Excursions, Inc. is the major shore excursion agent and tour provider to most major cruise ships calling in St. Thomas, one of the Caribbean’s busiest cruise ship ports. The company operates a wide array of tours including scenic island excursions, helicopter tours, party boat trips, horseback riding, mountain biking, SCUBA and snorkeling tours, and golf outings. We pride ourselves in our professionalism and handling of tour guests who come to our islands by cruise ship. Cruise ship guests are here only for one day and it is up to us to ensure their visit is a memorable experience and that they will come back to America’s Paradise.

Ship / Administrative Tour Dispatcher:
Specifics: Responsible for coordinating excursion departures from the cruise ship dock, assisting with the planning, scheduling and supervision of tours, and other varied job duties. We need four to six seasonal winter employees to join the company for the peak tourism season. Ideal candidates must be available from October 1st through June 15th. Year-round positions may be available for those whose seasonal performance impresses the company and who are interested in progressing into a management position.
Qualified applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Have legal documentation to work in the United States (we are a U.S. territory!)
- Commit to our company for the “high season” – Sept/Oct to the end of May or June
- Be prepared to sign a Job Contract and a “non-competition/non-disclosure” agreement
- Have excellent communication and organization skills
- Have your own vehicle or be willing to buy or rent one upon arrival in St. Thomas
- Willingly work all holidays and weekends when required by the volume of cruise ships in port
- Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm in a tropical climate, since much of your work will be outside on the cruise ship dock
- Assist in the scheduling of tours
- Be a reliable team player who is willing to jump in at the last moment when required
- Assist with miscellaneous office duties between tour dispatches including answering phones, photocopying, filing, running errands to the post office, supplier stores, and other places
Insider Tips: We are looking for attractive, high energy, trustworthy, polite, self-motivated and dependable employees who have good organizational skills. Ideal employees are able to follow directives, think on their feet, and jump in at a moment’s notice. No experience is required and we will provide orientation and training. Remember we are a tourist-oriented island and company – if ships are in port we work – even if it is Christmas Day!

USCG Licensed Captain: USCG Licensed Captains to run sailing catamarans, 3 ½ hour day sailing and snorkeling trips for cruise ship passengers in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Captain must be capable of managing all aspects of busy day sailing boat, including crew, maintenance, and the fun and safety of our guests.
