Travel the country delivering and managing large, outdoor corporate events!

We are currently seeking Seasonal Events Managers to work from our Nashville location. We are seeking outgoing, energetic team-players, ideally with leadership, parks and recreation, hospitality and/or food service skills to manage corporate event delivery. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, a licensed driver, and be willing to drive 24' delivery trucks. Weekend work is a must as most corporate events happen on Saturdays and require travel out of town with an overnight stay on a weekly basis. This is a seasonal job with training beginning early May.  Our event season lasts thru the end of October.

An Event Manager is a seasonal employee who handles the entire event from set up to take down by performing the following duties:

• Assist with pre-event responsibilities that include but are not limited to: organizing and loading event equipment, procurement of event related items,  pre-event paperwork and assembling travel arrangements.
• Direct the setup/construction of the event.
• Supervise and provides direction to 20-100+ temp and volunteer staff.
• Manage relationship with the client during the event by accommodating needs and contractual obligations
• Drive the truck to and from the event; following all Department of Transportation policies and procedures.
• Handle problems as they arise during setup, run, and take down of the event.
• Assist with post-event responsibilities that include but are not limited to: organizing and unloading equipment, equipment clean up, and post event paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Nashville, TN area
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Chefs need to be ServSafe Certified (or willing to become so)
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds

Training is paid at $10 an hour.  Trained Event Managers begin to earn $110 a day beginning with the first event.
