Room and Board
While on crew, employees will camp in tents. If tents are provided to them by CCYC, the participant will have to share with one or two more people of the same gender. Members have the option of bringing their own tents and will not have to share. There is a $30 per workweek food deduction while in the field (includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks).
Please be aware that CCYC tents are used tents that have been donated and not always in excellent working condition (ie: zipper doesn't work well, hole in fly, etc). It is advised that you bring your own tent. If that's not possible, we will do our best to ensure you are comfortable while in the field.

Getting Here and Getting Around
As a service to our Crew Leaders and Corpsmembers, CCYC will pick up participants before their term and at the end of their term on a specified date, time and location from Durango and Cortez, Colorado. If flying, we recommend the Durango Airport or Cortez Airport. Greyhound also has stops in both towns. Once hired, you will be given the shuttle date, time and location. Depending on the time of the shuttle, participants have had to arrive at least a day before the pick-up. If this is the case, you will be responsible for figuring out and paying for your own accommodations. If you arrive at any other location or at a different time than that of our shuttle, it will be your responsibility to get to Monticello, UT by your start date.
*Please be aware that CCYC provides transportation from a set meeting location to all work sites and back at the beginning and end of the hitch only. Transportation is not provided on days-off. We do not reimburse members for travel to and from Monticello, Utah or while employed with us. We highly recommend you bring your own vehicle. It will make your experience in the Four Corners Region much more memorable and exciting. Monticello is a little town surrounded by so many breathtaking places and many of them are not walking distance! Having your car means having the freedom to explore this amazing part of the United States.
