Camp Walt Whitman
Camp Walt Whitman: A Summer You Will Never Forget
Our 2013 Dates: June 9th – August 10th
From the moment you arrive on the shores of Lake Armington you will be surrounded by New Hampshire's beautiful White Mountains and by an amazing group of people. Each summer over 200 staff members from across the globe converge and form some of the best friends of their life. Last year, our staff came to us from 37 states and 17 countries. Staff comes back to camp summer after summer because of the people.

Working at camp is demanding; the hours are long and the responsibility is tremendous. However, the rewards are priceless. Staff members at Walt Whitman truly make a positive impact on the lives of our campers. Our staff, which is amongst the best in the camping industry, have a passion for working with children and enjoy sharing their knowledge and experience.
Days are filled with exciting activities. Imagine playing basketball, baseball, hockey or field hockey, painting watercolors or throwing a clay pot, flying down the zip line at the ropes course, or serve and volleying on our tennis courts with a great group of kids, all in one day. A day at camp is a blast!
You will challenge yourself on hikes and waterskiing, but you will also have the opportunity to accomplish your personal goals. We want you to gain a wealth of new experiences. Travel throughout New England; gain valuable work experience. We feel that if you have the summer of your life our campers will too, and they will remember you for a lifetime!
