The Bucking S Ranch is located in the heart of Wyoming "The Cowboy State". We are situated along the Seminoe-Alcova Scenic Backway at an altitude of 6,000 to over 8,000 feet and are surrounded by the foothills of the Seminoe and Shirley Mountains. We are an authentic working cattle ranch.

We are looking for employees with an outgoing, cheerful, enthusiastic and genuinely friendly personality as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. All positions require employees that are self-motivated, organized, willing to take initiative and pay close attention to detail. Employees must get along well with others as part of our team and must have a "can do" attitude.

Our Jobs

Wrangler: We are looking for wranglers with extensive horsemanship skills and ideally experience working with cattle. You must be safety conscious and provide courteous services to guests at all times. Your ability to complete assigned tasks as set forth by the ranch owners and follow set rules is essential. Current CPR certification and first aid card is a must, veterinarian experience a plus.

Housekeepers: Responsible for the daily upkeep and cleanliness of all ranch buildings and guest accommodations, guest laundry as well as assistant in the kitchen and dining room. The position is available from May 1st till the beginning to mid-October. Please only apply if you can work the entire season

Cook: We are looking for at least 5 years of professional experience in all aspects of cooking and baking. Plan, prep and provide 3 quality home cooked meals per day from scratch served family or buffet style while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment. It is a one person kitchen and you cook for about 12 guests + 7 staff members. The position is available from May 1st till the beginning to mid-October. Work Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age when reporting for work. All employees must show proof of citizenship or a green card upon arrival at the ranch. You will need to produce a valid driver’s license and an original social security card or a current passport to be eligible for work.

Compensation

We provide our employees with a monthly salary, guest gratuity + free room and board. We also provide an end of season bonus if you fulfill your employment agreement to our satisfaction. A set of objectives will be clearly defined. A bonus is paid only after completion of the season.

Sleep and Eat

We provide bunk house style accommodations with private or semi-private bathrooms. We also provide two common staff living room areas with satellite TV and a kitchenette. All crew members eat together with the guests so you are fed well!
