Minimum Wage Increase This Week

If you are working a summer job in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, (Gary) Indiana, Virginia, South Carolina or Georgia, you should be getting a raise this week if you are paid minimum wage. Effective Thursday, July 24, 2008, the federal minimum wage will increase to $6.55 per hour.
