A Social Network for Seasonal Employees

Want to compare notes about summer jobs, ski resort jobs, working abroad or hook up with friends in the off-season or pals from that gig you had at the Grand Canyon back in the 80's? We've laid out a social network for you.

Our message boards have been active for years. But we want you to be able to SHOW each other more, and find each other more easily.

It's called My CoolWorks, you can sign up for free, and we've still got message boards, but much more:

• You can post photos, create albums and make slideshows that you can show off elsewhere
• You can post videos
• You'll have your own blog to share your wisdom, your adventures, that great seasonal lifestyle
• You can create and join Groups. This could be most anything - Alaska Addicts, Yellowstone Alumni, Signal Mountain Crew of 2005, Chefs who Love to Rock Climb, whatever.
• and more features are coming, including a Wiki that we'll take a look at for you.
  

You need to ask for an invitation for now. It will be open for all to see before too long. And we're giving a tasty prize away to the 100th member that posts some sort of photo with their profile. The winner can choose between a 4 Gig iPod Nano, a Fugi Fine Pix F 20 Digital Camera or a $100 iTunes Gift Card. The profile photo can be a mug shot, an avatar, a scene from your backyard - something to add a little zazz.
