On this page you'll find links to pages and articles we think are handy, interesting, funny, wierd and oh-so useful. These could include: cool travel destinations, ski, bike, paddle techniques, gear reviews, stories from the road, or we may post things that seem competely off topic that we just like. If you have any ideas or anything to contribute, drop us an email at: feedback@coolworks.com.

Teen Advocates of Hope Keep Promises on World AIDS Day

Around the world, AIDS has a child's face. Some 15 million children under 17 have lost one or both parents to the disease. In Ethiopia, teenage "advocates of hope" are demonstrating what World AIDS Day really means by participating in Save the Children programs that will prepare them to educate their peers about HIV prevention and provide care and support to those affected by AIDS. We asked them to convey in words and pictures their hopes for themselves and their community.

See their photos, and learn how they're keeping the promise of fighting HIV/AIDS.
