Underworked Employees Are Least Happy

A survey by Sirota Consulting led CEO Jeffrey Saltzman to conclude that "Although there is a cost to employers when their employees are overworked, there may be an even bigger cost due to boredom from being underworked."
Updated Regs for Youth on the Job
Final regs from the Department of Labor regarding employment rules for youth have been published and will be implemented February 14, 2005.
Among other things, the rules weigh in on what type of cooking 14 and 15 year olds may perform.

EEOC Targets Workplace Harassment of Teens
The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission held a press conference for high school journalists to discuss the problem of sexual harassment and other discriminatory conduct against teens at work.
