Some results from a survey of 468 employees conducted by Vault: * 85% say tattoos and piercings hurt their job prospects * 64% report they cause a negative effect on the opinions of co-workers and employers * 49% said their company had no policy on piercings and tattoos * most employees conceal their tattoos at work "Regardless of who the real person may be, stereotypes associated with piercings and tattoos can and do affect others," one respondent said.
