Resort Manager with Housing in Idaho

The River Dance Lodge in central Idaho is located in a remote setting on the Clearwater River. We are looking for a fall/winter manager and housing is provided. Because the resort is not very busy in the fall/winter this job requires wearing many hats. Pinewoods Resort has immediate openings, full time for: Housekeeping, Mechanic / Maintenance, Maintenance asst. / General Labor.

 

We also provide FREE dorm style housing to all single employees. The Employee Bunkhouse contains a shared kitchen, sitting room, and five bedrooms. A bedroom may be shared with another employee. You will be required to provide your own meals. Any additional items to make your stay at Pinewoods Resort comfortable you are welcome to bring with you.   • Responsibilities:
    1. Complete house cleaning of all suites and cabins (Suites have multiple bedrooms and kitchens).

  • Responsibilities for this position also include all mechanics necessary to keep the snowmobiles and all terrain vehicles (ATV’s) in optimal operational condition.
    • Responsibilities:
      • Complete building maintenance (flooring, drywall, trim, painting, plumbing, roofing, siding, electrical, satellite television and telephone wiring, etc.).
      • Perform various new building construction as necessary.
      • Keep the snowmobiles and All Terrain Vehicles (ATV’s) in optimal operational condition by performing all mechanics necessary.
    • Skills and job requirements:
      • Construction experience (new construction and maintenance of existing structures).
      • Extensive experience in small engine mechanics.
      • Maintain inventory for building / maintenance supplies and small engine parts / operational supplies (i.e. fuel and engine oil).
      • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
      • Dependable, honest, and hard working.
      • Self motivated.

Retail Sales Associate: Responsible for retail sales in gift shop, cash handling, reports, ability to acquire and use product information, inventory, and stocking. High public contact position. Long periods of standing.

Camper Store Clerk (Bryce Canyon and North Rim-Grand Canyon only): Operates scanner cash register, balances cash receipts, prepares reports, stocks shelves, prepares fast foods, receives product. Public contact position. Long periods of standing. Lifting required.

Position wages range from $6.00 per hour to $9.00 per hour depending on the position.  We offer low cost dormitory style housing and three meals a day for $11.00 per day deducted right from the pay check.
