Our properties, located in the Bridger-Teton National Forest, put you within reach of Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park while still being close to towns with plenty of attractions, shopping, and fun activities.

Togwotee Mountain Lodge is located in the Bridger-Teton National Forest – 16 miles from Grand Teton National Park and 47 miles from the South Gate of Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.

Located at the base of Angle Mountain and spread over 88 acres, Togwotee Mountain Lodge offers 88 guest rooms (cabins, lodge rooms, and suites), casual dining experiences, a Fireside Lounge that includes a fireplace and pool table, and stunning views of the Teton Mountain Range from the property! 

Our staff size varies from season to season, with 80 employees in the summer and 120 employees in the winter. Our summer season runs May through October and winter season lasts December through April.

Being an employee at Togwotee Mountain Lodge is unlike any experience you have had so far – guaranteed! Our commitment to service and the friendliness of our staff, combined with the comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, ensures that your time at Togwotee will be unmatched.

Our staff size varies from season to season, with 80 employees in the summer and 120 employees in the winter. Although we are considered a seasonal operation, staying for more than one season is easy to accomplish, and you will still get the off-season to travel before the next season begins.

Togwotee is a "gateway to adventure." You can easily be surrounded by nature with no other person in sight. There are some nearby spectacular scenic roads that allow you to be secluded without the fear of getting lost, and you can't forget that two of the best national parks in the country are a stone's throw away!

Room and Board

Employee housing at Togwotee is dorm-style: two staff members are assigned to a room with its own bathroom. Some rooms also have additional furniture. In an attempt to pair people with similar interests, employees are given a housing questionnaire before the start of the season. 

Togwotee offers room and board for staff for FREE with a $200 refundable cash deposit. The optional meal plan that is offered is $100/pay period.  

Employees of Teton Tour Company and Sands Whitewater Rafting are not eligible for housing at Togwotee Mountain Lodge and will need to secure their own living arrangements in or near Jackson.

Getting Here and Getting Around

Togwotee will provide transportation to and from the town of Jackson or the Jackson Hole Airport at the start and end of the season. Jackson Hole Airport is closest, followed by Idaho Falls and Salt Lake City, 

 The Salt Lake Express provides a shuttle service from Salt Lake City, through Idaho Falls, and into Jackson daily. No major bus lines stop in Jackson Hole, but a Greyhound Bus can get you to the Salt Lake Express in Salt Lake City or Idaho Falls. 

For Fun

The convenient setting of Togwotee Mountain Lodge offers a rare opportunity to explore and experience nature at its finest year-round Spend your winter enjoying snowmobiling, dog sledding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and more. Summer activities include tons of hiking, white water rafting, biking, float trips, horseback riding, and attending local rodeos. 

 The team at the lodge also organizes free staff activities and trips throughout the season. Employees are able to visit Yellowstone, Jackson, points of interest in the National Forest, and fun activities in nearby towns!
