Alaska State Parks depends on volunteers to help manage and maintain our parks. Volunteers provide services that would not otherwise be offered. In turn, volunteers receive valuable training and experience for their service. There are several facets to the VIP program. Perhaps one of them is for you!

Getting Here and Getting Around
Transportation is not provided to Alaska. Certain rangers will provide transportation to and from projects on specific dates. Please look under the job description in the catalog or on-line for more information.
For Fun
We have a multitude of outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, fishing, wildlife viewing, and more in and around our parks.
