ACE Adventure Resort is a 1,500-acre whitewater rafting resort located adjacent to the New River Gorge National River Park in West Virginia. The New and Gauley rivers feature the finest Whitewater Rafting in the USA. There's adventure-class rafting, on the New River and world-class rafting on the Gauley River...plus the area's best lodging and camping.

Kayaking

Not only does ACE offer the finest whitewater rafting trips in the country, we also offer guided Rock Climbing, Zip Line Tours, Mountain Biking, Horseback Riding, Paintball, Kayak Clinics, ATV Tours and Team Challenge Events.

Our season runs from April through the end of the Gauley River season in mid-October. However the busy time is between Memorial Day and mid-October. This is seasonal outdoor work that requires a high level of "people skills" plus the technical and leadership abilities necessary to lead a crew of novice paddlers down challenging whitewater, coach guests off 100 foot rappels or guide a group of sight-seers along the mountain trails at ACE. If personal interaction is a strength for you, we can teach you the technical side of being an outdoor adventure guide.

Room and Board

Most of our seasonal employees camp in their own tents in a special camping area devoted to employees. No charge for camping. Rental housing is also available in the town of Oak Hill, WV...about 10 minutes away. Generous employee discounts in our two full-service outfitters' stores.
