On the eastern edge of Yellowstone National Park lies a valley unsurpassed in rugged mountain beauty, sparkling streams, hidden lakes, and abundant wildlife (Teddy Roosevelt once called it "the most scenic in America"). Nestled among towering pines and sunlit palisades, Absaroka Mountain Lodge extends a quiet welcome to visitors looking for a "Greater Yellowstone" experience.

Employees will experience a family atmosphere while living and working here. If you'd like living and working in a truly magnificent location for the summer, this is the ranch for you.

Cabin Cleaners/Servers ("We have 15 small log cabins and a cozy restaurant that seats 28.)

Our Ideal Candidate...

We are looking for mature, self-motivated employees who take pride in accomplishing an honest days work and have the integrity to respect themselves and their co-workers, as well as management. This job requires commitment and a positive attitude. All staff members must be willing to work hard, pitch in and do many different jobs. We need employees from mid May until late September. Please do not apply if you cannot arrive by the end of May and stay at least until late August.

Sleep and Eat

We have a women's bunkhouse and men's bunkhouse. Each employee shares a bedroom with 1 or 2 other people and they do share a bathroom in the bunkhouses. We have a separate employee dining area, and the staff eats off the menu with a couple of exceptions.

Other Perks

Compensation includes salary, tips and full room and board. Bonuses will be given to those who have completed the agreed upon dates of their contract.

Getting Here and Getting Around

Our lodge is located on the eastern edge of Yellowstone National Park, only 12 miles from the east gate.

Because we are located 39 miles from Cody, Wyoming, all staff must be able to bring their own vehicle for their convenience in traveling to Yellowstone, Cody and the surrounding area.

For Fun

While off duty, employees are encouraged to enjoy their surroundings and all the activities the ranch has to offer such as horseback riding, fly fishing, hiking, etc. The east entrance to Yellowstone Park is only 12 miles away! Also many activities to enjoy in Cody, Wyoming.
