Summer Jobs at the A Bar A Ranch

The A Bar A Ranch is one of the West’s oldest and largest guest ranches. Many of our guest families have been coming here for several generations. World-class fly-fishing and horseback riding draw guests and staff from around the country and internationally. Our isolated location and family atmosphere help promote a unique sense of community among guests and staff.

Our Jobs

We will begin hiring for summer 2013 in November.

Sleep and Eat

Room and board is provided to employees. Lodging is in bunkhouses/dormitories and employee food is cafeteria-style.

Other Perks

Benefits include room and board, optional 401K, share of general tips fund, use of facilities.

Getting Here and Getting Around

The nearest airport is in Laramie, Wyoming (90 minutes away). Denver International Airport is 4 hours away. We can pick up staff members in Laramie, or you can pay for a taxi service from Denver. About 1/2 of our staff usually bring their own cars, and rides can be shared on days off, etc.

For Fun

Staff members enjoy unlimited hiking on more than one hundred thousand acres of private land and National Forest. Horseback riding and fly-fishing opportunities are exceptional, including miles of private trails and private river and stream access. Use of guest facilities including the pool, tennis courts, golf course, and shooting ranges is also permitted, with some limitations. We are located about 4 hours from Denver, 2 hours from Steamboat Springs, and 90 minutes from Laramie.
