- Provide high quality service to all guests.
- Trained newly hired staff in quality assurance to serve our quest standards
- Complete all necessary set up, side work and closing duties as assigned
- Check bar before, after and during shift for cleanliness and set per standard
- Be knowledgeable of all bar menu items, including specialty cocktails, their garnish, contents and preparation methods.
- Be prepared to answer any guest questions about the dining menu, bar menu and wine offerings in a direct, concise way.
- Take guest drink orders correctly and serve them in a timely fashion!
- Check the drink presentation before taking the drink from the bar to the guest.
- Check guest satisfaction with drink quality within 5 minutes of the drink being delivered.
- Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between coworkers.
- Requires moving supplies to multiple ranch bars & venues.
- Lead bartender aids staff with daily procedures and will help in the dining room with service & expo.
- Be willing to work all shifts to ensure the service standards are being met.
- Make sure all bar mixers, fruit & anything else needed to make a drink are requisitioned in a timely fashion so they are available & ready for service.
- Execute defining service to VIP guests and ownership in formal settings.
- Provide excellent and detailed cleanliness and maintenance.
- Ability to work in a faced paced environment when needed,
- Assist the F&B director with staff scheduling if needed.
- Knowledgeable about wines and proper wine service
- Performs a weekly bar inventory and provides it in a timely fashion so products get ordered.
- Completes monthly front of the house bar inventory.
- Assists managers/owners in creating company policies and training guides.
- Assist with buffet setup and tear down as needed.
Required:
- Bartender experience- required.
- Craft cocktail experience preferred.
- 5 years high level food and beverage serving experience.
- Wine knowledge required - level 1 Sommelier preferred.
- Ability to work a split shift when required.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs- Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours daily.
