  • Bartender

Our small volume bar provides exceptional cocktails, wine and spirits to discerning guests. 

    Our relaxed pace allows our guests time to wine and dine over a superb dinner or to watch the spectacular sunset in the evening. Hone your craft of mixology and specialty cocktails as you serve our incredible guests in a boutique B&B and award winning restaurant. 

    The ideal candidate will help grow the business with us and have an eye for exemplary customer service. The bartender must have knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks including origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, and house specialty drinks.

    Shared housing available for nominal fee and pooled tips. 

    Hours:

    Wednesdays-Sundays approximately 3 PM-9 PM.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Have a passion for wines and spirits with the ability to recommend and advise guests.
    • Ensure proper pouring, mixing, and blending of drinks.
    • Ability to use POS system. 
    • Maintain cleanliness in bar and lounge areas according to health requirements. 
    • Serve drinks to guests in our lounge and deck areas. 
    • Communicate with the kitchen, waitstaff, and the guests to ensure a smooth a memorable experience.
    • Maintain liquor stock, rotation, and able to make recommendations to our guests.
    • Delivering five star luxury lifestyle service experiences.
    • Knowing our menu and product.
    • Monitor bar opening and closing duties and complete daily opening and closing standards.
    • Work with Executive Chef on wine pairings, and with waitstaff to care for our guests.

    Qualifications:

    • Certification/Licensing from a bartending school. 
    • Serv-safe alcohol certification or ability to obtain. 
    • Sommelier experience a plus.
    • 3-5 years bartending experience. 
    • Must be at the minimum age to serve alcohol in line with local legislative requirements.
  • Line Cook

    Culinary
    Greenville
    $18.00 - $20.00 / hour + tips

    The ideal Line Cook will be a team player, reliable, and can follow directions. Experienced line cooks will have the opportunity to train and work with an experienced Executive Chef. 

    This is a seasonal position beginning May 1-October 30, Wednesdays-Sundays. Approximately 35 hours per week.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations.
    • Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks.
    • Plating prepared foods based on Executive Chef’s guidance.
    • Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time.
    • Ability to work in fast paced environment.
    • Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts.
    • Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations.
    • Ensuring restaurant/lodge goals and SOP’s are maintained.
    • Ability to follow directions and recipes.
    • Must cover breakfast service several mornings per week.

    • Owners
    • Executive Chef

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Associate degree in culinary arts or 3 years relevant experience as a line cook.
    • Must have excellent food preparation, knife and cooking skills.
    • Must have exemplary kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
    • Must know the different methods of chopping vegetables, dividing meat, filleting fish and combining salads, herbs and spices, along with how to portion dishes and work with precision to bring recipes to life.
    •  Must know the safe and proper methods of operating different kitchen appliances and utensils.
    • Must have serv-safe food manager and alcohol certification or be willing to obtain.
